AI providers come at different levels of intelligence and cost. You can select them in the AI tab:
LLM RPA intelligence ranking
Here is our “RPA intelligence” ranking, as of August 5, 2026:
- Anthropic → Anthropic Opus 5
- OpenRouter → Sonnet - almost as good as Opus
- OpenRouter → openai/gpt-5.6-luna - really good and significantly lower cost
- OpenRouter → Qwen 3.7 Plus - useable, but a significant drop compared to Sonnet.
The ranking is based on our own tests and benchmark suites.
What about the free Ui.Vision AI provider?
The Ui.Vision Free AI option uses a combination of several LLM via OpenRouter and some custom logic internally. The models and interference providers we use might change from time to time, as we experiment with different models. In addition, since the Ui.Vision AI plan is currently a free offering, we need to keep an eye on the cost.
For the most reliable AI macro script creation experience we recommend you get your own key and use one of the Anthropic models or use a local LLM model. Which brings us to:
Local LLM
Ui.Vision also offers the option to connect your own local LLM, too. This way even the macro creation runs 100% local.
Suggestions for other models are very welcome, as the LLM landscape is developing fast. You can simply reply to this post or start a new thread.
Claude Code and the MCP bridge
This is yet another option to create macros via AI: You might already use tools like Claude Code and now you can ask them to write the macros for you. This Ui.Vision MCP setup video shows you how it works:
