before windows app it run perfect fine but after update it say need install windows app and now when run node script it popup node cmd windows Take control of the mouse and keyboard, then switch to that cmd tab. it really annoying pls fix it
Thanks for the report, and sorry for the annoyance. Confirmed and fixed. Since the Windows desktop app took over the XModule role, XRun and XRunAndWait started every console program (node, python, cmd) with its own console window, and that window grabbed the focus. The old XModule did not do that, and the fix restores the old behaviour: the child runs without a console window, and XRunAndWait still captures the exit code in ${!xrun_exitcode}.
The fix will be in the next Ui.Vision for Desktop update, which we will publish early next week. Nothing changes in your macro. The “please install the Windows app” message you saw after the extension update is expected: the X commands now need the desktop app instead of the old XModules.
If you want to see the node output in a window on purpose, use cmd.exe as the target with /c start node yourscript.js as the parameter.
