Word count and supported langs

I’m looking to integrate OCR into our product, therefore I have few questions:

  1. We have a lot of customers with Hebrew translations. I didn’t see Hebrew in your supported langs, is it planned soon or can be somehow workaround?
  2. I would like to have a word count option (as a preprocessing) without actual text file, as a separate first step on our platform. Do you have that option?
  3. Is it possible to have only word count on unsupported languages

(1) Yes! Hebrew support is planned for 2022, but we have no ETA yet.

(2)+(3): So instead of doing OCR, just return the number of words?

Unfortunately adding Hebrew OCR turned out to me be more complicated than originally anticipated. So it is not yet available - but it remains on our todo list!

We have no ETA (expected time of arrival) for Hebrew OCR. → I will update this forum post once we know more.
