Ubuntu: xClick image, not working

Hi Everyone,

I am using xClick to click a box on Chrome. On Windows 10, the xClick works perfectly fine.
But on Ubuntu (22.04 and 24.04) the box is marked with a red box, but the click does not follow.
I always use Chrome and also reinstalled the xmodules.
The whole set up is within a virtual box.
In addition, there is no error, it just does not execute it.

Any Idea what could be the reason or any workaround (like getting the x,y and then use execute…).

I was in same situation so soloution is that.

  1. log out
  2. left bottom corner at login screen gear icon :gear:
  3. Choose “Ubuntu Xorg”
  4. Now login

Thank you, I have already deactivated wayland. I will tried it the other way around, but the problem remains…
