Specified native messaging host not found

Hello this is the first time i am posting to this Forum, so forgive me if this is a newbie question:

But i am trying to run the DemoPDFtest_with_OCR and i keep getting this error:

Error: Specified native messaging host not found.

I have tried to install the XModules but it did not help. I also tried on a separate mac and windows installation. I couldn’t find any other references on the internet, but i guess it is a easy fix as it is a demo prebuilt. The OCR is activated in the settings

Anyone recognizing this issue?

So are you testing on Mac or Windows? And does the Demo-XClick macro fail as well?

I once got this error after I installed the XModules, and then deleted the installation directory by mistake.
