Hello OCR API,

I would like to test your service to OCR a 130 page pdf I captured myself to translate from Spanish to English for my dad. I’ve been investigating using your technology then possibly running it through a LM service to make it user friendly for my dad. I have two questions before setting up the server for this:

  1. Can you work via VPN?

  2. Will you require installing software on the server I’m about to setup?

Hello! Our free OCR API is provided as a cloud service with a very strict privacy policy.

The connection to the OCR API supports HTTPS/SSL, so the communication to/from the server is encrypted and secure.

No local installation of any kind is required.
