Recording asserts

Hello everyone!

I would like to know is there a possibility to record asserts not only clicks? If there an option can someone share steps how to do that?

Directly recording assert… commands is not possible. What we recommend is:

  • Record Click commands instead of assert. You can also record clicks on non-links (like this plain text here).
  • After recording, edit the macro and replace the Click command with the Assert… command that you need. The locator remains the same.
