Random Macro deletion

Hi,

I’m experiencing frequently the deletion of all macros, stored in Local storage (Browser).

I open the UI.Vision RPA extension, and all macros and folders in Local storage are gone (I have more than 30 macros).

Luckily that there is the backup function, so I can restore the previous backup.
But still annoying because not always I remember to make a backup of the macros after the changes made to that, in addition to notification for the backup.

Can you check what triggers the deletion of the local storage.
If the local storage is so unreliable, you can store the macros in the filesystem by default. But I this that will not be the solution, because you charge we have to pay the Pro plan to store more than 10 macros.

Another solution is:

  1. Set a backup forder (now are saved all in downloads)
  2. Add and option to make a backup if are made changes to macros, and there are macros.
  3. On the opening check if there are macros, if not, restore the last backup.

Meanwhile great work for replying and solving bugs.

This sounds strange, we have never heard of random macro deletions so far. Some questions:

  • Which operating system?
  • Which browser?
  • Do you have a lot of other extension installed?

It’s not a good idea using ui vision in a browser with more others addons installed.

Try to use a dedicated browser with ui vision only, every addons can damage/edit html5 space and delete macro.

Use a dedicated browser for ui vision only to prevent possible conflits
