Whenever I came across an image I want to OCR, I’d right click it, then select the Capture option, then the popup window would show up, but after I close it up, I’d find my self all the way at the bottom of the page/feed.
Proposed solution:
Automatic OCR, then copy to clipboard without a need for an intermediary popup (Ideal solution for me)
It sounds incredibly frustrating to be constantly scrolled to the bottom of the page after trying to OCR an image! Your proposed solutions are excellent, and I can offer some ways to achieve them, along with explanations of why the current behavior might be happening and some alternative approaches. JPMCBCard Com
Why you’re being scrolled to the bottom:
The “Capture” option you’re using likely involves some kind of screen capture tool or browser extension. These tools often grab the entire viewport or a specific region. When the capture process finishes, the tool might be trying to “restore” the view to where it was, but sometimes this logic gets confused, especially in dynamic web pages or feeds that load content as you scroll. The browser might misinterpret the scroll position and jump to the bottom.
That’s exactly the case for me. Please let me know if you want me to log out any information you might need, unless you can reproduce the issue yourself. Thanks!
