OCR Processing Issues

Hi there.
I’ve noticed severe performance issues today with the following endpoint:

https://apipro1.ocr.space/parse/image

I am on the pro version, and using engine #2.

There are a number of files that I’ve attempted that aren’t processed and don’t return a response. I can confirm they’re under the 5MB limit.

Are there any current outages or do you have any recommendations, such as using the other endpoints?

Our OCR performance monitoring looks ok for the last 24h:

=> Is your performance issue resolved now? Or do you still see the issue?

In general we recommend to add some failover logic to the code that calls the OCR API. Then it can switch automatically between endpoints if one is too slow or even down.

Note: If it is always the same file/document that causes an issue, the problem would be related to this specific document. In this case, please contact our tech support at team AT ocr.space.
