Is there a way to move the window to specific coordinates?

There are some ways, but can I ask why you want to do this? The best method depends on what you want to achieve.

I want to have two windows open and each one occupying half the screen.

Ah, so you want to maximize and dock a program to the left edge of the screen, and dock another one right side. => Here are two ideas:

  • Use drag & drop

  • Or (much easier here!) use a keyboard shortcut. On Windows this should work:

  1. Select the program, app, or browser window you want to move. (with XClick)
  2. Press Windows Key + Right Arrow or Windows Key + Left Arrow (with XType)
