[Mac] XType Chinese into Android studio emulator fails, ${KEY_CMD}${KEY_V} also fails

Hi All,

I’m on Mac using XType to send Chinese into Android studio emulator, it fails. If I copy the Chinese into clipboard and XType ${KEY_CMD}${KEY_V} also fails, no problem for English. Any insights on this?

Already change the emulator to use Chinese as display and input language. Any help is appreaciated!

Is this a problem only with the Android emulator? If you try to paste the same Chinese text e. g. in Visual Code or the TextEdit app, does it work then?

Yes, it works fine on other applications, like texteditor or Edge, the Chinese can by input or pasted without problem. Only on emulator it fails. Thanks for help!
