Is manifest V3 also implemented in Edge browser (as we know it uses the chrome engine)

My Edge browser is using kantu version 6.3.3 which is great as version 8 on my chrome is currently unstable still showing too many bugs to be used as a stable automation environment.

I was told I still can use Kantu version 6 on chrome till the end of this year as by then the chrome manifest V3 will require to switch to version 8 or higher.
Does that also apply to the Microsoft Edge browser or can version 6 be used beyond the end of this year?

RPA V8.0.1 will be available on Edge soon.

As you suspected, Edge has the same V3 transition timeline as Chrome. That means older “V2” extensions stop working end of January 2023:
