"Invalid API Key" issue with Firefox addon

Hey, just wanted to test your software, and when putting my api key into

it, ( K8106*********7 ) it says invalid API key. I tried with another
email also, and have the same issue there.

It always says: Invalid API Key

I am using firefox, and the normal latest addon, i think its called
Ui.Vision IDE 9.6.0 firefox addon.

Is my API key invalid or do I need to pay or something?

Thanks in advance, wishing you a nice day.

We confirmed this issue. The license key pre-check in the Ui.Vision RPA addon is outdated. We will fix this with the next RPA update. This issue is not related to the OCR API itself. There your free key works just fine.

Support email from a PRO user:

I work for ( ) and we recently acquired a subscription for OCR Space to use in conjunction with UI Vision for automating some work.

We didn’t have an issue before but now UI Vision is not accepting the API key we were given just a few days ago.

The issue is occurring in the UI Vision app in the menu for OCR settings where I am prompted to enter my OCR Space API key in order to have access to OCR Space datacenters 1 or 2 while using the UI Vision application. I am getting an “Invalid API Key” error after entering our key.

Are there any fixes I can try to address this?

It turned out the PRO and PRO PDF api keys had the same problem. The root cause was an issue in the way that the OCR API return code was processed. => This is fixed in the new V9.6.1 (released today). If anyone is interested, the full RPA source code is available to review the changes. Updates for Edge and Firefox will follow in a few days.
