I got strange error when using xclick

if i try to use xclick - ui vision rpa - when i select image i use linux mint 21 and i get this error : [error]
Line 1:

no any details about this error ?!!

Hello, some questions:

(1) Is this in Chrome and/or Firefox? If Firefox, can you please try in Chrome? (and vice versa)

(2) Do you run this in desktop mode? There is currently known issue on Ubuntu 24 desktop mode. I am not sure if that info applies to Linux Mint 21, just mentioning it for now.

Thanks for your answer… it is chrome and firefox …
Do you run this in desktop mode? yes desktop mode and no that error for administrator but it exist for the other users

and it is correct " XClick | image.png fail in desktop mode. But in browser mode, screenshots and all computer vision commands work fine, as shown in the videos above. " Ubuntu: XModule does not show as installed on Firefox, works in Chrome - #4 by admin

i tested on ubuntu 20 as your request and still the same error bro ?!

We will re-test this on Ubuntu 20 ASAP, and then update this post.

Hi, so we retested on Ubuntu 20.04.06 with the latest Ui.Vision and Chrome, and all works fine:

XClick for web automation:

In this video we use SELECT to grab an image, and then run XClick.

XClick for desktop automation:

Here we run the DemoXDesktopAutomation macro that ships with Ui.Vision:

All looks good to me.

→ If you see an issue on Ubuntu 20.04, can you share a video? Or maybe even send us a virtual machine (VBox or VMware) that shows the issue?

yes working fine for admin … not any other users bro ?!!

multi users in same time not working - only one can use the software

This is normal: Desktop automation simulates real mouse and keyboard activity. So just like with a regular mouse and keyboard, only one user can “do stuff” on the machine at the same time.

ok…thanks so much bro
