How to use OCR tool on Desktop version?

Hi how’s it going?

I was able to get all the Xclick sequences working correctly with the desktop version of UI.vision. However, my final goal is to extract text from an unclickable, uncopyable table rendered on the final screen. I tried adding an OCRExtract macro and then taking a screenshot of the rows and columns I wanted to extract, but I get a message that says there was an error with the macro.

Can someone please tell me the simplest way to extract text from a screenshot on a desktop application?

It sounds like you did everything correct. Probably a smaller issue somewhere.

What error do you get? Please add a screenshot of the error, and a screenshot of the table with the data.
