How to move modules from local storage to file system (disk storage)

All my macros are stored in the browser’s local storage. I have the xmodules installed. How do I move them to the outside file system so they are on my hard drive?

Alternately, how do I execute the local storage modules after switching to the file storage hard drive mode since they all disappear from the macros list?

I would export everything and then switch to File System mode and import your macros back in

  1. The best way to export is to use the Backup function of UI Vision

  2. In hard drive mode, there is no need to import anything. Just copy the exported macros (JSON files) to the /macros folder in the home directory as specified on the XModule settings tab

  1. All this does not affect the macros on local storage. You can always switch the display between both modes here:
