How do i share my macros (job interview)

Hi everyone,
I’ve discored UIVision two months ago, english is not native language though :
Going for a job interview in the next weeks

With this in mind, I’d like to demonstrate macros I’ve created to automate some tedious tasks.

could you help me find a way to

  • store my macros on a drive (any advice on the tool? I’ve used Google Drive and their free storage of 15 GB)
  • share my macros with a recruiter or colleague so that they can use them on their own computer?

Hi, I recommend that you share your macros as ZIP files. You can create these ZIP files directly inside UI.Vision. Simply right-click on the macro that you want to share, and then select “Export as ZIP”:

share rpa macros

To run the macro, the recipient needs to do the following two steps:

  • Install Ui.Vision from the Chrome, Firefox or Edge extension store
  • Import the ZIP file:

share rpa - import

PS: If you simply want to show the recruiter how the Ui.Vision macros work, I would recommend to record a screencast and share the video with her/him. I doubt a regular recruiter has the motivation to install Ui.vision and import the macro(s) :wink:
