Note that you need to use true simulated keypresses with KEY_X instead of just sending the text “x”, otherwise it just receives “aaa…”.
If Google Chrome remote desktop is not working properly, you can always switch to apps like logmein, R-HUB remote support servers, Teamviewer, Gotomypc etc. They work well.
