I forked the UI Vision RPA repository from GitHub. The latest commit shows version 9.5.3, but the production version in the Chrome/Firefox stores is 9.5.9.
Why is there a version gap? Is the GitHub repository updated periodically rather than with each release?
I’m working on custom modifications and want to ensure I’m using the latest codebase. Should I wait for a repository sync, or is there another way to access the 9.5.9 source code?
Thanks for using Ui.Vision! We typically update the RPA source code repository whenever we update Ui.Vision for Firefox. The reason is simply due to our internal workflows for development and QA.
Ui.Vision Enterprise users can request a source code snapshot anytime directly from tech support.
Having said that, the difference between V9.5.3 and V9.5.9 is rather small. Unless you plan to use the Computer Use features, you can work with V9.5.3 without issues.
