Free OCR API doesn't work suddently

I’ve used free ocr api for a while and it works well in my project.
However, it showed following message yesterday.
My program code is same before and after the meesage showed.
Could you help to guide me how to fix the problem?
Thanks!

“Unable to process the file. Please check if the file has sufficient permissions and allows access and is not corrupt”

Engine5 (free endpoint) was overloaded yesterday, maybe that was the issue?

Now all should work fine again, see https://status.ocr.space/

Thanks for prompt reply!
but the engine I used is 2, not 5. I tried both engine again 10min before. The error message
is still showed with Engine 2 and Engine 5 is with another kind of error as below.
“Timed out waiting for results”.
By the way, I did some experiment yesterday. following status is what I got. hopefully it is useful for you
to help me solve the problem.

  1. The image A is stored on Computer A (Home Assistant)
  2. The image B is a picture on website
  3. Using ONLINE OCR in Computer B (Windows 10)
  4. The image A and B are car plate
  5. Enginge : 2; Language : English

Get the car plate number by text
  6. Paste URL(using domain numbaer) of image A from Computer B and start OCR ==> the error I showed on previous letter
  7. Paste URL(using IP) of image A from Computer B and start OCR ==> the error I showed on previous letter
  8. Paste URL of image B from Computer B and start OCR ==> get the text without problem
  9. Upload the image A on Computer A and start OCR ==> get the text without problem
  10. It is OK to open image A from Computer B by URL with Chrome browser
It seems online OCR denied the image in Computer A by somehow reason. Do you know what
can cause this kind of problem? sorry for the trouble and thanks for your support!

Some statement are missing! please ignore my previous letter,
Sorry! let me send it again!

The problem is there for a week!
Anything I can do to fix it? please help! Thanks!

Sorry, what issue exactly? All looks good here: https://status.ocr.space/

What error is this? Can you please post a test URL here?

the test URL is https://et888888.duckdns.org:8123/local/image/test12.jpg
and the error message is “Error: Unable to process the file. Please check if the file has sufficient permissions and allows access and is not corrupt”.

If I try to open this URL (http) from my machine, I get:

This page isn’t working

et888888.duckdns.org didn’t send any data.

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

And if I use httpS I get:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from et888888.duckdns.org (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more

NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

Thanks a lot for your information! I’ll check my setting in detail again.

Originally, I thought the file is blocked by free OCR API.
but it’s not. the root cause is my certification is expired.
Sorry to trouble you and thanks for your great help!
