Does UI.Vision supports UI automation for controls(xaml based) developed in Avalonia for Linux environment?
Yes! XClick/XType support any kind of desktop app technology.

Did you encounter any issues? Normally you just install UIV and then it works 
It works the same on Mac, Windows and Linux. The only difference is the different XModule app - but feature wise it is exactly the same (well, almost: Linux has no support for Local OCR yet).
