Assert command is not working as expected

have tried using this command for validation but unfortunately it doesn’t work as expected
Could you please help us out by providing the steps to use the ‘assert’ command

You used ASSERT wrong. The syntax is:

Assert | variable name without brackets | value

so in your case

Assert | eng | Engineering
