Is there a designated area in the forum or elsewhere to share macros from common tasks on known websites, i.e. tasks on Facebook, Google, etc.? I don’t want to reinvent the wheel every time

No in the forum will not be shared macro.
It wouldn’t do much because each macro is created according to the user’s needs, so it’s rare for a macro created by another user to interest other users.
When I need a macro, I create it myself.
You are welcome to share your macros in the forum. But as @newuserkantu mentioned, it is unlikely that another user needs exactly the same. But if you have something interesting, please share it 
You can post the macros in the “How to” section of the forum. Also interesting would be more scripts to control UI Vision from the command line, like these here: RPA/command-line at master · A9T9/RPA · GitHub
