According to our logs, the free OCR API endpoint had a few minutes downtime due to overload. If you experienced a longer downtime, please let us know.
The PRO/PRO PDF ocr api endpoints had no downtime (100% uptime).

The free OCR API is sometimes down for a few minutes due to overload. We run the free servers with ~75% server load on average, which keeps the cost down and allows us to offer this OCR service for free. So if you have a connection issue, please re-try e.g. 2 minutes later.
The PRO/PRO PDF OCR API endpoints avoid this overload issue as we run these servers at only ~30% average CPU/GPU load.
