I have just bought an inexpensive OCR which I would prefer not to identify as I don’t want to embarrass them. It uploaded the PDF file effectively and ran the OCR but the result was impossible to justify so I’m looking for an OCR that will justify. Can anybody offer a recommendation for an affordable application and by a affordable I mean not as expensive as the £300 one I found last time I looked.
