I have had it occur a few times where a certain portion of a macro will not run unless I restart the programme. This is currently occurring with the authy desktop software, it runs to that point, and then justs waits, restart Uivision, and then it runs without a problem.
I have also seen the link I saved to my taskbar won’t open uivision, instead it tries to navigate to the options section and then just closes/
Can you provide a screencast of this issue? This would help to clarify what is going on.

the software just seems to stall at a point see below the logs:

and then does nothing
found a solution to this, it appears that at certain times, it would not restart the programme as it was already running, but it did this sporadically. I just changed a command to say close instead of minimize and now it runs without a issue.
