Is it possible to schedule a task to run at a certain time down to “milliseconds”?

The PAUSE command takes milliseconds as input.

But now I am curious: What kind of task is so time criticial that you need milliseconds accuracy?

I believe no PC or Mac software has this accuracy, because the internal clock is not that accurate.

Thank you for taking time to reply. As long as the accuracy is with 30 milliseconds we should be fine for this business application. I appreciate your help.
