Empty result in OCR API call

From a user: Hi everyone, I got a problem with the API for one or two days already. When I use the “isTable” parameter set to true, the api still works but returns an empty result with the message “Total lines: 0”. I didn’t change anything on my side so I think there must be something wrong with the api. Is that possible? It behaves the same way if I try the api call from postman.

Solution: You need to set isOverlayRequired=TRUE even if you do not need it, if you want use receipt ocr with isTable=TRUE.

Of course, this should happen automatically, and we will fix it inside the API soon. But meanwhile, using isOverlayRequired=TRUE in your api call will solve this, too.

This issue happens “only” with OCR engine2.
